forza azzurri, allez les bleus
but one thing i cannot fathom is why did zizou reacted that way. how could he allow his glittering career to end in such a disgraceful manner. just one moment of foolishness, and his reputation of a gentlemen is robbed.
i'm sure materrazzi said some really awful stuffs to provoke zizou. well, damn that materrazzi (i wish i can use something more vulgar). he's now the latest addition to my hate list. he ought to be the man of the match for it ain't easy to make a such a legend like zizou flare up and get him sent off. so, all i can say is 'well done marco materrazzi'.
as much as i want to know what on earth did materrazzi say to cause a saint to commit the worst sin ever, like what tracy on newpaper said, zizou would be too much of a gentlemen to reveal what was said.
being the runner-ups for the competition is nothing disgraceful. but being sent off for head-butting an opponent is the worst way to end one's career. not only that, how is he going to explain his action to the millions of kids who look up to him? what will he say to his boys at home? just one act of insanity proves to be too much for the beautiful game to take.
well zizou is still the best to me, and france will definitely not be the same without him.
all i can say is merci zizou (:
the golden ball is the only consolation.
the next time i hear anyone snicker at this head-butt issue will get one from me.
haha.
yes, we are capable of anything when provoked.
so stop the condemning and get on with life.
it's good bye to zizou and hello to pirlo (:
these hands are meant to hold
out.
yes, italy won the world cup (: i think i handled france's lost better than i thought, and i actually felt happy for pirlo (man of the match!) and the Azzurris.
